In the beginning there was an idea!
Many of my clients have asked me regularly for a CD of the special sounds of my singing bowls – without talking as the guided meditations, which will allow everyone to listen no matter what language they speak. Music for meditation, yoga or simply for relaxation.
Obviously this motivated me, because I personally love the sounds of the singing bowls and enjoy being creative with these special, harmonious sounds.
For me the new CD should have 3 tracks with a total of 1 hour of singing bowl music. .... and I knew that the first one would be called Sunrise and the third track Sunset, as I love these times of the day very much.
Sunrise ... A very special time of the day when the sky turns mystic red and orange, creating a truly magical moment, bringing life to all beings.
Sunset ... Another magical time of the day, when the sky is transformed by a spectacular array of colours. Everything comes to an end in peace and tranquillity.
So I started my new project at the beginning of 2013 .... and when I had finished these two tracks I was missing inspiration for the third track as well as the title of my new CD.
I have been a member of MOA International (Mokichi Okada Association) in Fuengirola (http://moaspain.es/) since 2006. Displayed in the MOA clinic are several beautiful and very powerful calligraphies, painted by Mokichi Okada in the last century. (http://www.moainternational.or.jp/en/)
One day a calligraphy particularly caught my eye, a calligraphy I probably have seen for many years but never really took notice. This time I felt attracted in a special way and was very happy that they had one print I could buy. Happily I took the calligraphy back home and after looking at it all evening I was deeply touched and knew that this would be my new CD.
The next day I asked at the clinic whether I was allowed to use the calligraphy form for my new Meditation-CD and I was allowed to do so.
And so the title and also the 3rd part of my new meditation CD were born.
What is Shinbunmei?
Now I did not know about the meaning of the calligraphy and I was told: The Japanese lettering stands for „SHINBUNMEI", which roughly means True Civilization.
This is exactly what happens to me in these times of change. So I was delighted that I could share this beautiful message with the world.
True Civilization ... Change is always new. Connect with your true nature to enjoy the special, harmonious sounds of the Tibetan singing bowls. These archaic sounds may touch your inner self. They connect us with our own inner sound and provide us with a feeling of peace, love and respect.
